Our Educational Partnerships: Supporting Young People
Through our financial support and practical programmes in the community we aim to form an educational support path for young people from a variety of backgrounds. A key part of our work within the community is our relationships with organisations that support educational development – particularly those working with young people from a disadvantaged or marginalised background.
Our firm has a pool of highly educated people who have careers based on the benefit of their education, but we recognise that there are too many young people in our community who face educational challenges. We are pleased therefore to continue our commitments to the access programmes at TCD, DCU and UCC as they continue to support students with progress in their third level studies. This year we also provided support to the UCD University of Sanctuary programme assisting students from refugee backgrounds. In addition to providing financial support, we have also developed opportunities for our people to get involved and to make a real impact on the lives of many young people through both formal and informal mentorship programmes.
