ENERGY MARKET REFORM

Agreed amendments to the Internal Market in Electricity Regulation and Directive are available, as is the agreed draft of the recast Regulation on Natural and Renewable Gas.

CARBON BORDER ADJUSTMENT MECHANISM

First reports are due by 1 January 2024 for importers to the EU of certain products identified within categories of cement, electricity, fertilisers, iron and steel aluminium, and chemicals (hydrogen).
